My supervisor said that if I make a claim for my accident, I'll lose my job. What do I do?

Video Description

Anytime a supervisor makes a threat like this, you should know that it's illegal. They should not be saying that to you. And what they're doing, what they may be trying to do, is limit your legal rights that you have. So if this happens, know that they cannot make that threat to you and that you should contact an attorney to discuss your legal rights, because the person who is saying this to you, even though you might have a relationship with them, or you may think that they're your friends, they may be getting influenced from other people, from the insurance company, from their supervisors.

So, it's important for you to know that you do have rights and that you should contact an attorney to discuss those rights. And just contacting a lawyer doesn't mean you have to start a claim, but it's important to talk to somebody so you know what your rights are and you can make a decision on your own in terms of what to do.
