Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP Sponsors The Uniformed Firefighters Association’s Scholarship Fund Golf Outing

This year, Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, was a proud sponsor of the Uniformed Firefighters Association’s (UFA’s) Scholarship Fund Golf Outing, held at the Garden City Country Club on June 12th. The UFA is a non-profit that represents the interests of New York City Firefighters, and the UFA Scholarship Fund is for the undergraduate education of dependent children of deceased, retired, or active Firefighters, Fire Marshals, Marine Engineers & Pilots, and Marine Wipers who are full-time students up to (and including) 23 years-old (other persons are eligible as well). The event was attended by associate Thomas Papain of the firm’s Securities Litigation team.
