The Faruqi & Faruqi Scholarship Program is open to first year law students in the U.S.
Faruqi & Faruqi, a national law firm, is proud to announce the launch of the Faruqi & Faruqi Scholarship Program. First year law students in the U.S. are eligible to apply.
Faruqi & Faruqi, established in 1995, focuses on complex civil litigation. The firm is headquartered in New York and maintains additional offices in California, Delaware, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. Faruqi & Faruqi has served as lead or co-lead counsel in numerous high-profile cases since its inception, which provided significant recoveries to its clients.
The Faruqi & Faruqi scholarship will offer one scholarship of $1,000 total to a first-year law student for the Fall 2019 semester. Students may use the funds for tuition or other school-related expenses. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is September 20, 2019.
Applicants are required to submit proof of enrollment, either in the form of an acceptance letter or course schedule. Applicants are also required to write an essay of at least 500 words explaining why they are pursuing a law degree, what area of law they plan to specialize in and how they aim to make a difference in the law profession. Applicants are also encouraged to highlight their previous education, academic achievements and any awards or other recognition they have received.
The applicant with the most compelling essay submission that best exemplifies his or her commitment and passion for the law profession will be awarded the scholarship.
