If you are the survivor of sexual assault or sexual abuse, you're entitled to bring a claim against the perpetrator of those crimes for the damages that they have caused. And it's important for you to know that in terms of bringing this claim, that you can bring this claim even if there was no criminal prosecution, even if there was no conviction at the end of a criminal proceeding. And you can also bring this claim, even if you never reported it at the time that it occurred. But, there are time limits in terms of these claims.
