Jimico Enterprises, Inc., et al. v. Lehigh Gas Corp., No. 07-578 (N.D.N.Y.)

In this case involving the operators of gas stations on the New York State Thruway, Faruqi & Faruqi represents several terminated gas stations alleging illegal terminations in violation of the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act.  After partial summary judgment was granted to plaintiffs, a damages hearing was held wherein plaintiffs were awarded $171,000 in damages, including punitive damages, $51,000 in pre-judgment interest and later, attorneys’ fees and costs of $300,000.  The Court has entered Judgment for plaintiffs.
