Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP Encourages Investors Who Suffered Losses In Excess Of $100,000 Investing In Halyard Health, Inc. To Contact The Firm

Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, a leading national securities law firm, is investigating potential securities fraud at Halyard Health, Inc. (“Halyard” or the “Company”) (NYSE:HYH).

The investigation focuses on whether the Company and its executives violated federal securities laws by failing to disclose that it had deliberately sold defective Ebola virus protective equipment to health-care workers following the recent outbreak.

Specifically, on May 1, 2016, 60 Minutes aired a report that Halyard knowingly provided defective surgical gowns to U.S. workers at the height of Ebola crisis.  An insider of Halyard Health claimed that the Company manufactured and sold surgical gowns that would leak and did not consistently meet the industrial safety standards in the treatment of Ebola.

Since the allegation has reached the market, Halyard’s share price has fallen from a closing price of $31.50 per share on April 28, 2016 to a closing price of $26.95 on May 2, 2016—a $4.55 or 14.4% drop.
